Al Elé x Glazey started with a chance meeting at a fellow creative’s collection launch. Sophie and I got chatting, discovered each other’s work and then realised we’re birthday twins: August 14th!
A few days later, after being stuck in a creative rut for weeks, I kept thinking about Sophie’s beautiful, colourful and maximalist pieces and how perfectly they could translate into the things I love to make.
And just like that, an idea was born, her world of colour and texture meets Al Elé’s prints, embroidery, jackets and bags. Two birthday twins, two creative practices, one very colourful collaboration.
Printed on deadstock fabric - which is excess material from factories that would otherwise go to waste - each colourway is super limited. So if you see one you love, make sure you get in quick. Website will be updated with photos coming soon.
