Why we’re closing our Ivanhoe shop (and what it means for you)
Change is in the air at Al Elé. This December, we’ll be closing our Ivanhoe shop to make room for what comes next.
As we head towards the end of another whirlwind year, we have some important news to share with our community. After much thought, we’ve decided that our Ivanhoe shop will be closing at the end of December.
Running a small business comes with plenty of joy—along with rising costs that can stretch time, energy, and resources thin. Like many independent makers, we’ve had to make thoughtful choices about where to focus so we can keep doing what we love sustainably.
This wasn’t an easy decision, but the right one for where Al Elé is heading by freeing up time, energy, and resources to grow in a way that feels true to us. Closing our store will allow us to spend less time juggling shop hours and more time doing what makes Al Elé what it is: creating, designing, experimenting, and showing up to all our favourite markets that we know you love, too.
The good news? We’re not going anywhere.
We’ve already started applying for our 2026 market season, so while the shop may be closing, Al Elé will still be out on the road, meeting you at markets nationwide.
In-store discounts until closing
To say goodbye to our shop, we’re offering a range of in-store discounts including 20% off all in-stock items and up to 60% off wholesale pieces. Think of it as our way of saying thank you for your incredible support.
We’ll be open daily from 10am on the following December dates:
Open 2nd December – 10th December
Open 16th December – 21st December
After the 21st, the shop will close for good. So if you’ve been meaning to swing by, now’s your chance. We’d truly love to see you before we leave the space.
What’s next?
This change marks a fresh chapter for Al Elé. One that gives us room to breathe, create, and continue showing up for you with renewed energy. We’ll continue to share more details about the transition, so keep an eye out.
